Anointed one of “Top 30 Most Influential People on the Internet” by Time, Tyler Oakley made his first web video as a college freshman in 2007, and since then his infectious enthusiasm for life and message of radical self love have earned him over seven million YouTube subscribers. In addition to his brash commentary on topics like safe sex, celebrities and chicken nuggets, Tyler’s frank discussion of issues such as bullying and youth suicide among the LGBTQ community has made him an important part of a growing dialog about gender, rights and self-expression.
In 2014, Tyler toured the US, UK and Ireland in a fleece onesie for his series of live “Slumber Party” appearances. Amy Rice’s new documentary follows him on tour, and this time the camera captures Tyler Oakley offline, as it engages with the personality that created the online phenomenon.
