A two-week residency for 2-4 documentary filmmakers to explore the contemporary relationship between city and country. Fellows will also receive instruction from experienced documentary pros, and assistance in production from start to finish. Finished work will be shown at Northwest Film Forum.

Applicants will be accepted on the quality of their finished work and perceived depth of a filmmaker’s understanding of the collaborative process. A computer and advanced knowledge of an editing platform are required of each applicant.
By whom:
The course is designed and organized by Peter J. Vogt, longtime documentary filmmaker and board president of Northwest Film Forum. Other quality human beings and masters of their craft will duck in and out of the program, leaving fellows moved and inspired.
