Special Monday 7pm Double Feature introduction from Justin Jesty, University of Washington!

Heated passion is the downfall of Lemon, the shunned samurai of Ghost Story. After being refused marriage to his love Iwa, his sword spills blood in a fit of rage. The servant Naoske quickly comes to Lemon’s aid, helping him cover up the murders that he witnessed.

But good deeds come with a price – Naoske would like some blood spilt himself, so that he can acquire Iwa’s sister, Sode. Building their relationships on lies, their livelihood is stifled with poverty. Facing the overwhelming challenge of supporting a wife and son, Lemon shifts his love to a richer woman and Naoske quickly devises a deadly plan. This time however, the dead won’t lie quietly.
