The Courage to Love

It is estimated that at least 18 million Americans are suffering from sexual addiction, yet to date there has not been a documentary film made about this very real public health issue. Filmmaker Paul Ginocchio spent the past seven years creating this personal documentary film about men and women healing from sexual addiction. The Courage to Love will be making its Seattle premiere at Northwest Film Forum.
Paul Ginocchio began making this film in 2007 after spending over a decade healing from sexual addiction himself and realizing that there was no documentary in distribution about this topic. Paul is one of the four characters in the film that share their personal stories of sexual addiction and recovery. Two of the four characters featured in the film reside in the Greater Seattle area.
