Smith & Lee Design is a husband-and-wife team known for creating inventive title sequences for such films as Thank You for Smoking, Up in the Air, Juno, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Young Adult, Jeff, Who Lives at Home and HBO's Cinema Verite. Their work is currently featured in the museum exhibition "Graphic Design: Now in Production," organized by Cooper-Hewitt, the National Design Museum and the Walker Art Center. We are honored to have Gareth Smith and Jenny Lee with us to show their work and discuss their practice of using typography, drawings, photographs, animation and live-action filmmaking to create openers and special sequences for films and television.
