The Moomins, Snorkmaiden and Little My, in search of adventures, set sail for the Riviera. After a journey fraught with menacing storms and desert island dangers, Moominpappa befriends an aristocrat and adopts the name "de Moomin." That sends an exasperated Moominmamma to the relative calm of their trusty old boat, to wait for her family to come to their senses.This gorgeously hand drawn animation feature, celebrating Tove Jansson’s beloved comic strips, has charmed audiences worldwide with its messages of cross-cultural understanding and finding joy in the small things of family life.
