** THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED. Due to the fast-developing news about COVID-19 and its impact on the city, we feel that postponement is the best course of action for high-traffic events in our space. The safety and health of our community is deeply important to Northwest Film Forum, and to Brett. ** We will be in touch with ticket-holders! **
About
Seattle’s favorite crackpot leftist political comedy talk show returns to burrow into the psyche of a city under siege! Host Brett Hamil is joined by Politically Uninformed Sidekick Travis Vogt and Adult Nonbinary Intern Galaxy Marshall for an evening of explosive revelations, hilarious political commentary, and riveting conversation.
This time we’ve got: former Black Panther, SNCC organizer & King County councilmember LARRY GOSSETT, one of the OGs of the civil rights movement in Seattle.
Plus VARISHA KHAN, the new Redmond councilmember who’s one of the first two Muslims elected to office in Washington!
We’ll also be handing out Participation Ribbons to our endorsed candidates who didn’t win in the last election!
“The John Oliver of local Seattle politics.” – Kshama Sawant
“Hamil stands as the city’s premier political comic.” – Seattle Weekly
“Expect a level of goofy comedy and smart conversation untouched by anything else in Seattle.” – Crosscut
