About

Created in partnership by Reel Grrls and Northwest Film Forum.

Learn and practice professional scriptwriting format and structure, get an overview of current software options, and dive into storyboarding techniques for different types of projects. Even with standard formats, creatives still have many choices to make regarding format and style in making these two types of vital communication for projects. This workshop will be a mix of lecture, practice, and feedback. Students can bring in their own material to work on and workshop, or practice with provided scripts and prompts.

Minimum age to attend is 17, there is no maximum age. This is part of a series of production intensives being offered this fall for emerging filmmakers. Those age 17-26 who complete all the workshops will be eligible to join RGPro, a production company that produces broadcast-quality media for nonprofit organizations, local businesses, and institutions.
