Final Cut Pro is a non-linear digital video editing app for Mac OS. Its interface allows you to get up and running quickly to produce polished and well-told stories. Its power lets you edit 4k footage easily. Its flexibility allows you to efficiently manipulate footage. While streamlined and intuitive on the surface, the app has many powerful tools that reveal themselves as needed, such as a state of the art multicam tool, built in 360 video editing tools, and the ability to work with multichannel audio in a clean and efficient way.

In this class, you will get experience editing a montage project, while learning the software from the ground up, including:

-How to import footage and organize it.
-Fundamental editing techniques for picture and sound.
-How to polish the project with transitions, graphics and color correction.
-How to export for various destinations such as youtube and big screens.

Prior experience in non-linear editing is not required. Students should be comfortable using Apple computers. Learn this intuitive editing application, and connect with fellow filmmakers!
