Fiscal Sponsee - Green Screen

Green Screen

Green Screen is a buddy comedy that catapults two unlikely heroes from the monotony of their VFX desks into the unpredictable wilderness of the Pacific Northwest. It’s a story about the absurdity of chasing your dreams, where escaping a bear is easier than escaping a dead-end job.

This film emphasizes the importance of conservation and embracing cultural diversity. As a team of immigrant filmmakers, we aim to weave our personal experiences with universal themes of friendship and self-discovery.

Green Screen features Neil, a meticulous immigrant VFX artist dealing with the loss of his parents, and Peter, his carefree American friend whose laid-back lifestyle is as chaotic as it is charming. Their unexpected adventure serves as a wake-up call, offering laughter and life lessons beyond the screen.

This film is supported by Washington Filmworks and under the fiscal sponsorship of Northwest Film Forum. It celebrates the beauty of Washington State’s landscapes while spotlighting the local talent and businesses that contribute to our vibrant film community.

Join us in bringing this heartfelt comedy to life, a film that finds humor and hope in the wild, and underscores the power of cinema to bridge divides and inspire change.
