Calling all fans of Coraline and The Nightmare Before Christmas!

You’re the director and your imagination is the only limit in the world of animation! In this camp, you will learn from real animation professionals how to tell stories with expressive characters and exciting action using animation. Make friends, make films, and discover your stories in this camp!

What to expect:

✏️ Learn animation techniques like hand-drawn and stop motion,

🎨 Sculpt your own characters using clay

🎥 Use a mobile device and free apps to create your own story

🎬 Edit and add music to make your story come to life

Camp Preparation & Safety

All technologies and supplies are included in the camp cost and provided.
Snacks will be provided, and campers will be asked to bring a sack lunch.
Students will work in teams to create their films.
No prior experience required.

Lead Animation Instructor

Lucas Marchi is an Emmy nominated animation director, story artist, 2D animator, and teaching artist. He lives in Seattle, WA, and spends his time teaching at Cornish College of the Arts, helping organize Sea Slug Animation Festival with his partner, and doing freelance animation work for companies like Cascade PBS.
