Get certified to use the Ronin-M (loads up to 8lbs) and Ronin (up to 16lbs). Learn best practices for incorporating motion in your shots by comparing effective and ineffective motion techniques. Practice pacing, safety, and tricks for dealing with crowds and rain, then study detailed setup, certification and practice based on camera size.

Jonah Kozlowski

Education & Artist Services Manager

Jonah Kozlowski oversees our programs that connect filmmakers and media artists with the resources they need to grow, collaborate and explore new technologies. These include workshops for adults and youth, equipment access and training, networking events, work in progress screenings, and production workspaces such as our lab and meeting room. Jonah previously managed the equipment rental department and taught youth and adult workshops at Northwest Film Forum. He has been working in youth and adult media education since 2005, was festival coordinator for Seattle Shorts Film Festival, is a teaching artist with Coyote Central and Path with Art, and serves on the board of the Seattle based nonprofit, ChangeStream Media.


Brody Willis

Brody Willis

Brody Willis is a Seattle-based cinematographer and motion picture lighting technician with over ten years’ experience in the local film industry. They are also the Executive Director of Blanket Fort Films, a nonprofit film production company that provides underrepresented filmmakers with free access to motion picture education and equipment, and have taught film and video classes for Northwest Film Forum, Three Dollar Bill Cinema, Tasveer, Cornish College, The Art Institute, Digital Media Academy, Reel Queer Youth; and the Blanket Fort Films Motion Picture Program, which they personally designed and administer. Brody enjoys sharing the knowledge to successfully produce and complete a film.
