Northwest Film Forum and Reel Grrls have teamed up to bring you this one day camp will focus on media literacy and digital storytelling through the art of Selfie taking. Learn what makes high quality and engaging media, how to recognize accurate representation in media and how to amplify your voice and the voices of others. What does your personal VS online presence look like? How do you handle shaming culture? Deep dive into the ethics of social media use and how you can create a positive impact with your voice. Youth will work in small groups and create stills or short videos to accurately represent themselves. Learn and create in a fun environment at the independent cinema of Northwest Film Forum. See what you create on the big screen and enjoy free popcorn!
