Learn how to set up and use the versatile Canon C300 Mark II from local cinematographer Steve Hyde. This 4K Cinema camera with a Super 35mm sensor, high dynamic range, professional audio and video connections, improved auto focus and focusing aids, and an easy to handle and use design that can be arranged in multiple configurations. This is an intro level workshop, ideal for those with some shooting experience who are looking to switch from DSLRs to more complex production cameras.


Steve Hyde is a filmmaker with years of experience collaborating with a community of creative producers, directors and post-specialists that make it possible to film, edit and deliver your video content on any budget. As a cinematographer and producer he has worked on numerous film, commercial and documentary productions. His work has been recognized by MoMA: Documentary Fortnight at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, (2009), National Gallery of Art (2010), Twelve Days of Science IFC Center NYC (2011), and Lahore International Children’s Film Festival (2012).
