We’ll see you after we’ve satisfied our desperate need for presents, family time, seasonal pastries, hot, spiced alcoholic beverages, snowball fights, wistful gazes out of windows on quiet nights, pumpkin pie comas, holiday-themed reruns of old TV shows, and miserably long lines to do things that cost a lot and fall far short of our expectations.
