Join Northwest Film Forum and the Seattle Office of Arts and Culture in celebrating the work of the six recipients of Collective Power Fund’s Artist Development Grant:

Mohamed Abdullahi, Kamari Bright, Lauren Du Pree, Ruth Kazmerzak, Yewon Kwon, and Lex Marcos.

Notes on attending:

Start times for these half-hour visits are on the hour (10am, 11am, 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm), to allow for cleaning time between groups. Please arrive on time to get the full experience.

Visitors will be required to complete a COVID-19 self-assessment one day in advance of their visit, which is by appointment ONLY. The gallery space is sterilized between each group’s visit; five guests are allowed to visit at a time. Masks are required while in the space.

Mohamed Abdullahi

Mohamed Abdullahi (@mohamedafilms) is a filmmaker/photographer based in Seattle, WA.

Kamari Bright

Kamari Bright (@kamari_bright) is a poet, videopoet, and creative that is heavily inspired by her life lessons and observations.

Lauren Du Pree

Lauren Du Pree (@justdu_pree) is an actor, vocalist, writer, and filmmaker from Seattle, WA.

Ruth Kazmerzak

Ruth Kazmerzak (rkazmerzak.com) is an artist living and working in Seattle, born in Iowa.

Yewon Kwon

Yewon Kwon (@yaystation4) is an artist and publisher currently residing in Seattle, WA.

Lex Marcos

Lex (lexmarcosdesign.com) is a Seattle-based designer, visual-storyteller originally from Manila Philippines.
