Attend our inaugural Pride season event!
Was 2021 a sh*t show for you too? ‘Cause it was for us! This year, LRP is hosting The Black Trans Comedy Showcase in June with the goal of centering PRIDE programming around joy, comedy, clapping back, and Blackness. Three Black Trans PNW comedians will be gracing the stage at Northwest Film Forum on June 22nd, 2022: Mx. Dahlia Belle (PDX), Mitch Mitchell (SEA), and Chocolate the Entertainer (Olympia), plus fabulous drag queen host Moltyn Decadence (SEA). It’s gonna be a Ki! There will be raffle prizes, nibbles, drinks, and community. So bring your plates because this ROAST is going to be HOT!
All tickets and donations will benefit Lavender Rights Project’s ongoing programming supporting Black Trans Liberation. Even if you cannot attend, your monetary support is appreciated.
Lavender Rights Project is committed to making this event accessible to all community. We will have ASL interpreters on site, an option for streaming online for folks that cannot attend in person, captioning on our live stream, and tickets for those who are low/no income. We are excited to see you!
