Literary Nerd Hour: Z-Sides Screening and Quiz Show
$13 General Admission

** Presented by Word Lit Zine **
This event is for wordsmiths who peruse their local book stores, the Jeopardy!-watching Seattleite who binges books like most folks binge Netflix series.
Join host Jekeva Phillips for a screening of Z-Sides, a new local TV program featuring PNW writers and poets, followed by a quiz show where audience participants will be invited to strut their literary prowess in low stakes, high fun games; and yes, there will be prizes! Don’t miss the best (and nerdiest) part of your week.
Literary Nerd Hour is presented by Word Lit Zine magazine, producers of Z-Sides.
Z-Sides is a televised program which showcases Seattle’s best and brightest literary artists, taste-makers, and trouble-makers. Each episode begins with a reading from the featured guest (their prose and/or poetry), followed by a talk with the artist. We don’t merely discuss their current projects; we get to know them in a whole new light, exploring their lives, their perspectives, and their passions… aside from writing, that is. Get to know your local artists and fall in love all over again with this great city of ours.
Jekeva does a lot of things, mostly because she doesn’t want to get old and regret stuff. A writer, performer, and arts entrepreneur, she has been making things happen in Seattle all her life. She is the editor-in-chief of Word Lit Zine, creator and host of Z-Sides, producer of Bibliophilia Storytelling Festival, managing director of Lit Crawl, and that’s just for starters! In 2018 she was listed in City Arts magazine’s Future List, and is an artist and arts producer to watch out for.
