This month The Mixer welcomes Courtney Sheehan, Executive Director of Northwest Film Forum. Courtney is co-founder of multiple global film events including Cine Migratorio, a migration-themed film festival in Spain, as well as the Seventh Art Stand, a national film series centering those impacted by travel bans. As a journalist she covered international events including the world’s largest documentary festival. She will discuss NWFF’s Local Sightings – the only local festival dedicated to Pacific Northwest filmmaking­­­­­­­­ – in celebration of the event’s 20th anniversary.
