Superproducer Erik Blood DJs the lobby pre-func

Northwest Film Forum and Brett Hamil present Seattle’s only intentionally funny political talk show: The Seattle Process with Brett Hamil. It’s a mudpie lobbed into the halls of power with the comedian, writer and host of My YouTube Channel Where I’m The Big Important Guy Who Gets To Say What’s What. Each episode will feature interviews with high-profile politicians, activists and artists plus standup comedy, sketches, videos and surprises.

The inaugural edition will include:

  • A candid interview with Socialist councilmenace Kshama Sawant
  • Writer/feminist badass Ijeoma Oluo inducts a new member into the Internet Troll Hall of Fame
  • The women of Seattlish (Alex Hudson, Sarah Anne Lloyd and Hanna Brooks Olsen) share Halloween costume ideas inspired by local politics
  • Emmett Montgomery performs his nationally acclaimed funny-talking
  • Politically uninformed sidekick Travis Vogt rants about a topic of his choice and bails Brett out of awkward spots
  • Any candidate for public office who buys a ticket will get one minute to address the audience
  • Superproducer Erik Blood DJs the lobby pre-func, afterparty at Vermillion
