CFFS 2022 – Kids Run the World (Ages 11+)

To accommodate evolving public health recommendations regarding COVID-19, we are using a hybrid virtual-and-in-person festival model in 2022. There are three categories of festival pass: VIRTUAL, IN-PERSON, and HYBRID (virtual AND in-person), all available here. Vaccination and DOUBLE-masking are required for NWFF patrons!

Who runs the world? Kids! Watch these different international stories of kids taking on their own unique adventures, writing their own stories, and being true to themselves!
The filmmakers of “Stolen Kisses” (Lidi Toepoel) and “Doze” (Alfonso Acosta, Carolina Mosquera & Dominique Forbes) will be in attendance!

For the sake of public safety, NWFF patrons ages 5+ will be required to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination and to double-mask while in the building. Disposable masks are available at the door for those who need them.

Thirteen-year-old Daniel is home alone and his mom instructs him to not go out after school. Soon boredom, loneliness, and pressure from his friends lead Daniel to venture outside, where he meets a four-legged friend.

Kiko and the Animals
CW: Kiko and the Animals shows a young boy harshly playing with animals, but he soon learns the error of his ways.
Kiko is a bully to all the animals. How can they make him understand that they are just like him, capable of emotions, love, and deserving of respect?
