About
Me-Udo… Starring Udo Kier (Jeremy JP Fekete, Germany, 2012, 43 min)
As a bloodthirsty vampire, an androgynous pretty boy and a psychopathic killer, Udo Kier’s face with its pale green eyes was stamped into the audience’s memory. He has become one of the few German actors who succeeded in Hollywood and became world famous. In contrast to his eccentric roles, Udo Kier lives with his two dogs in Palm Springs. The images of Kier’s daily life are like a Western, with endless desert landscapes, a dusty ghost town from the ’40s, and never-ending highways that comprise the backdrop of director Fekete’s documentary.
Moments – The Photographer Robert Lebeck (Jeremy JP Fekete, Germany, 2008, 27 min)
Robert Lebeck is one of the greatest photographers of the post-war era. Working mainly as a photo journalist, he is interested in the people behind the images. Lebeck never stages his pictures and is always ready to capture that decisive moment. To this day, Lebeck’s images have not lost their power. View some of his celebrity photography below.
