NWFF'S theaters and lobby are available for your events.

We prefer 2 months lead time for venue rentals but will accommodate shorter timelines if possible. Masks are required.

Northwest Film Forum’s 8,000 square feet of 1920s Seattle charm are ideal for private and corporate parties, meetings, screenings, rehearsals, and fundraisers – our theaters and lobby are yours to rent!

The cinemas have a bold, raw look, with hardwood floors, bare wood columns, and 20-foot-high ceiling. Parties of many sizes can be accommodated in our two theaters: Cinema 1 seats 110, and Cinema 2 accommodates 46. The lobby is also available for parties and receptions. Venue Rental FAQ

Will my private rental appear on the NWFF website?

A private rental does not include a listing on our event calendar.

Who's responsible for tickets?

You are responsible for ticket sales, both pre-sales and at the door.

Is the venue ADA accessible?

The main floor of the Forum, including the theaters and lobby, are accessible via a ramp. We have one restroom on the main floor built to ADA standards.

Can I bring outside alcohol?

Unfortunately not! However, our concessions stand is stocked with the best popcorn in Seattle, candy, soft drinks, beer, cider and wine. All beverages, including alcohol, are allowed inside the theaters. If you would like your guests to be able to purchase snacks during your event, please check the “concessions” box on your rental request.

What if the non-profit rate is outside of our budget?

We offer many non-profit rentals and understand budgets can vary across organizations. If your budget is outside of our listed range for non-profits, please let us know as we will do the best we can to accommodate.
