Monday Mourning
Known for her camp sensibility and irreverent humor, Monday Mourning brings that spirit to her long-running series Mourning Sickness at Northwest Film Forum, where she fuses cult cinema with tongue-in-cheek performances, turning your favourite Hollywood treasures into glittering spectacles – including the smash-hit annual screening of Showgirls. Most recently, she expanded her curatorial vision with Trauma Bond – a Halloween season showcase of infamous horrors co-presented with Scarecrow Video, where every ticket sold supports the Sustain Our Scarecrow Fund. Through her screenings, she’s defined a new era of drag-meets-cinema, cementing her legacy as Seattle’s living cult classic.
