“aitu” is a work presented by Samoan artist and Stranger Genius Award nominee Mario Lemafa, which will include experimentation with fabric and textile repurposing. The work imagines the future(s) of resort culture, and native land-sea relationships.

Mario Lemafa (1990) resides in South King County. Lemafa’s work includes group and solo exhibitions, performance, poetry, and the occasional curatorial effort.
