What’s the next best thing to becoming a rockstar? Almost becoming a rockstar and hosting a local radio show! Semi-Iconic looks at Dick Rossetti, an ‘almost’ star in the making, and his pursuance of a steady career. Dick originally wants to rock out, but his band, Squirt, reaches their peak very soon. Looking to find a career that somehow relates to music, Dick stumbles on The End, a local radio station, and works as a host under a demanding boss. Through energetic montage sequences, colorful scenery, and the commentary of an array of bold voices, Semi-Iconic provides a unique perspective on an artist’s transition from alt-rock beginnings to the world of Seattle corporate radio.
