About
This workshop will cover all the bases about skateboard filmmaking including camera setups, operation, and editing. You’ll learn about the history, pros/cons of cameras, resources, & distribution. Students will be allowed to demo camera gear and techniques with the instructor. Leave with the knowledge and inspiration to make a great skate film.
For maximum safety, instructors (not students) will be doing all the skating during filming, but students are encouraged to bring their own recording devices. Camcorders and iPads will also be provided for practice, and students will learn how fun and easy it is to make amazing skate films with phones or other cameras they have access to.
* NOTE FOR PARENTS: You are welcome to sign your child in and return at the end for pickup. There will also be a comfy space adjacent to the workshop for family members to wait and watch the fun.
