M-F, 10am-4pm
At Northwest Film Forum’s Cinema, 1515 12th ave, Seattle
In the camp, youth will learn how to tell stories with expressive characters and exciting action using animation. They’ll start by learning stop motion and hand-drawn animation techniques, and how to create characters that can show emotion. Then, working in teams, they’ll design and create a pixilation animation- a large scale stop motion film starring themselves. They’ll also learn about different types of animated stories, and about animators from around the world through seeing short films from Children’s Film Festival Seattle.
