Open Lab night at Northwest Film Forum is free, open to everyone, and provides access to professional editing equipment and software in the NWFF Edit Lab, including Adobe Creative Cloud with Premiere, After Effects and more, Final Cut Pro x, and DaVinci Resolve. Our goal is to connect artists and filmmakers in our community to the resources they need to create. Open Lab is staffed by a volunteer local filmmaker who can help you get set up, offer advice on projects, and help connect you to other resources. Bring your project on a hard drive and come join in the fun!

Open Lab is generally every Wednesday from 6-9pm. Dates may vary due to workshop schedules and holidays, but well post upcoming dates here.

We have 5 iMac 5k Retina editing stations, and two PC stations. Each machine comes with a variety of helpful and popular software. We recommend bringing headphones and a closed/spill proof drink container.

Youth are welcome but encouraged to join us for Free Youth Editing Hours – every Wednesday from 2-6pm in the lab.
