About

Individual tickets are $0–25, sliding scale, but additional donations are encouraged! PURCHASE TICKETS HERE
Disabled List Fest 2025 will continue on Saturday 1/25 and Sunday 1/26 at Theatre Off Jackson. Click here for tickets!
(Note: Not ticketed by NWFF!)
Ticketing, concessions, cinemas, restrooms, and our public edit lab are located on Northwest Film Forum’s ground floor, which is wheelchair accessible. All doors in Northwest Film Forum are non-motorized, and may require staff assistance to open. Our upstairs workshop room is not wheelchair accessible.
The majority of seats in our main cinema are 21″ wide from armrest to armrest; some seats are 19″ wide. We are working on creating the option of removable armrests!
We have a limited number of assistive listening devices available for programs hosted in our larger theater, Cinema 1 (where The Disabled List is hosted). These devices are maintained by the Technical Director, and can be requested at the ticketing and concessions counter. Also available at the front desk is a Sensory Kit you can borrow, which includes a Communication Card, noise-reducing headphones, and fidget toys.
The Forum does NOT have assistive devices for the visually impaired, and is not (yet) a scent-free venue. Our commitment to increasing access for our audiences is ongoing, and we welcome all public input on the subject!
If you have additional specific questions about accessibility at our venue, please contact our Patron Services Manager at maria@nwfilmforum.org. Our phone number (206-329-2629) is voicemail-only, but we check it often.
Made possible due to a grant from Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, in partnership with Sensory Access, our Sensory Access document presents a visual and descriptive walk-through of the NWFF space. View it in advance of attending an in-person event at bit.ly/nwffsocialnarrativepdf, in order to prepare yourself for the experience.
NWFF patrons will be strongly encouraged to wear masks that cover both nose and mouth while in the building. Disposable masks are available at the door for those who need them. We are not currently checking vaccination cards. Recent variants of COVID-19 readily infect and spread between individuals regardless of vaccination status.
Read more about NWFF’s policies regarding cleaning, masks, and capacity limitations here.
The Disabled List Comedy Festival is the Pacific Northwest’s first-ever disability-focused comedy festival. Produced and hosted by local comedians Dan Hurwitz and Kayla Brown, it will take place on Jan. 24 at 7:00pm at the Northwest Film Forum in Seattle, WA, at Theatre Off Jackson on Jan. 25 and 26.
The Disabled List is a collective of disabled comedians that has been performing in and around Seattle since 2018. In 2021, we produced a short film that debuted at Northwest Film Forum’s Local Sightings Film Festival and was screened at several other film festivals throughout the state. The Disabled List Comedy Festival will feature filmed sketch and live stand-up by comedians with disabilities, including a couple special guests that are still under wraps.
We are super excited to announce that the 2025 Festival will be headlined by the hilarious Hayden Kristal and Gibran Saleem
Hayden Kristal
prefers they/them; accepts anything said with good intent
Hayden Kristal is a Colorado-based Deaf queer activist and stand-up comedian. Their quick wit and cheerful self-deprecation has earned them a semifinalist spot on America’s Got Talent, roles on Netflix & Adult Swim’s Tuca and Bertie, and over a million followers on social media.
Gibran Saleem
he/him
Gibran Saleem was born in North Carolina and raised in Virginia in a Pakistani household. He started comedy while attending graduate school at New York University for Psychology. While attending school he was individually handpicked as an MVP nominee on the national TBS Rooftop Comedy College Competition and was a two-time recipient of the UCB diversity scholarship.
Gibran is the only comedian to ever be selected as a finalist for both the Stand-Up NBC and NBC’s Late Night program; where he was one of six individuals hand-selected from over 1,000 submissions.
Gibran has been featured on MTV, TV Land, Popcorn Flix, PBS, CUNY TV, VOA, Elite Daily, and Cosmopolitan and performed his stand-up television debut on Gotham Comedy Live for AXS TV. He was the focus of an international documentary on NHK TV called Asian Dreamers: Brown is Funny and has been featured in festivals nationally across the states as well as winning 1st place in the Hoboken comedy festival. Gibran is a staple among college campuses and travels throughout the year. He can be seen on Pamela Adlon’s Better Things on FX.

ARTIST BIOS:
Andy Iwancio
she/her
Andy is a trans gal comedian from Seattle (by way of Baltimore). With her ten years of comedy she brings a witty, sardonic and slightly profane style to her jokes about navigating marriage, having a disability, and, most importantly, boob puns. She has opened for Kyle Kinane, Whitmer Thomas, James Adomian, Gareth Reynolds and Cameron Epsosito. Festival-wise, she has done Bumbershoot, SF Sketchfest, Women in Comedy NW, Upper Left Festival, Altercation, and All-Jane. She also appeared in the HUMP! film-festival award-winning film Queer Safari and the Emmy award-winning movie Star Wars Uncut. She was also a past Comic of the Week on “Jackie & Laurie.” You also may have heard her as a guest on many podcasts including: “The Sarah Silverman Podcast,” “Bananas with Kurt Braunholer & Scotty Landes,” “Improv4Humans with Matt Besser,” and “Lady 2 Lady with Brandie Posey, Tess Barker and Barbara Gray.”
“She’s a real cool lady” – Horatio Sanz (SNL)
“She’s really funny. Her last name has a lot of vowels too.” – Laurie Kilmartin (Conan)
“Awesome.” – Kyle Kinane (Comedy Central)
Cal Sheridan
Any and all pronouns
Now a former TikToker who ended with 32.5 thousand followers, comedian Cal Sheridan will always bring the smiles no matter what medium they use. Rarely will that medium be their own voice, as their cerebral palsy makes it difficult to speak, but Sheridan’s versatile humor style shines through. In clever one-liners, outrageous observations, and relatable stories, they reveal a thoughtful, if not often confused, individual.
Camrynne Sullivan
She/her
Camrynne Sullivan is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer based in Spokane, WA. She currently hosts and produces, Space Queers: An LGBTQ+ Comedy Show. She has studied at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade and at the Wynn Handman Acting Studio in NYC.
Danny Anderson
He/him
Danny Anderson may be relatively new to the stand-up comedy scene, but is no stranger to using humor as a tool for navigating life’s obstacles. After having his Air Force career and profession as a building engineer cut short by Multiple Sclerosis, Danny finally took a very metaphorical leap into Comedy. He likes to point out some of the positives of his chronic disease… like at long last a legitimate excuse for being 6’4” and absolute trash at basketball. Danny has been dragging himself up behind microphones all across Washington State, already having limped across the stages at Spokane and Tacoma Comedy Clubs, Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club, Comedy/Bar and Club Comedy on Capitol Hill in downtown Seattle and he’s patiently waiting for his Keyser Söze moment where he confidently strides up and off a stage near you!
Derek Sheen
He/him
Derek Sheen is a cuddly mess of insecurities and a gifted, one-of-a-kind storyteller. His ability to mine humor from the dark, humid corners of the human condition has made him a cult favorite of comedy nerds around the globe.
Despite a lack of television or film credits, he has amassed a pretty loyal fan base touring with comedy legends (name-drop alert!) Brian Posehn, Patton Oswalt and Janeane Garofalo.
Derek Sheen has released four critically acclaimed albums on Minneapolis based Stand Up! Records, with Grammy Winning producer Dan Schlissel.
Thee Gemini Stone
They/them
Thee Gemini Stone is a constellation of stars. They are a multitude. From red hot super giant swag to the luminous glow of a supernova and everything in between. They are a graduate of the #ShowThem Burlesque Basics Fall 2022 Cohort, a member of Haus De Corvo, 1st runner-up for Seattle Queer Monarch 2023, 2nd runner-up for Seattle Queer Monarch 2024, and Azúcar Latiné Cabaret’s February 2024 Fresh Face Feature. They have also been “whole-heartedly endorsed” by Seattle Publication The Stranger as a policy advocate for the Seattle Burlesque and Nightlife scene with a “vision for a brighter, more equitable, and sultrier Seattle.”
Seattle’s Gothic Beyoncé’s edgy rocker aura and goth glam aesthetic will mesmerize you through song, dance, and storytelling. Prepare to witness Seattle’s Sultriest Stranger-Endorsed Supernova – this steamy constellation is ready to seduce and enchant you.
Matthew Coe
He/him
I’m a comedian and writer originally from the Bay Area. On stage, I like to discuss my unique voice and growing up with a congenital heart condition. Before comedy, I studied neuroscience in college thinking I would be a doctor but realized that wouldn’t work out if I had to look away during Grey’s Anatomy. I’ve trained and performed at Upright Citizens Brigade, done stand-up in the Oakland Comedy Festival, and was recently selected for the “Best of Fest” show at the Burbank Comedy Festival. I write and perform sketches for Instagram and Tik-Tok with the group “Super Close Friend” and I co-produce and host a monthly show in Los Angeles called “My Therapist Knows Your Name.”
Max Kerwien
He/him
Max Kerwien is a comedian, award-winning poet, and professional stunt double for The Muppets. Originally from Seattle, Washington, his silly and biting standup comedy has won over audiences all around the world.
