About

Cuddle is an original short form episodic series. It’s a funny, sharp, woman-led comedy about a professional cuddle therapist’s search for human connection. Cuddle: The Series stars Hope Shanthi. It was created by Adeline Colangelo, directed by John Helde, and produced by Constanze Villines. More info at cuddletheseries.com.

SYNOPSIS:

Cuddle is the story of Dina Razzano, a one-time actress who comes home to Seattle to reinvent herself. But starting over isn’t easy, especially when you’re a pioneer of a very new, slightly dubious healing practice: cuddle therapy.

Dina has eaten her share of humble pie; moving back home, borrowing money from her brother, and fending off awkward clients. What keeps Dina going is her genuine belief in the power of touch… that and sheer desperation.

While things may not be going her way yet, she’s determined to succeed. Maybe in the process, all the oxytocin she’s getting from hugging strangers will heal her mangled self-esteem. At its core, Cuddle is about one woman’s attempt to mend her life and find purpose… in the most unlikely way.
