About Airstream Poetry Festival

The Fourth Annual Airstream Poetry Festival takes place at the Sou’wester Lodge & Trailer Park in Seaview, WA.

October 19-21, join publishers, authors, and plain old book lovers for potlucks in the pavilion, readings, workshops, walks by the sea, and maybe even some karaoke.

Tickets are available for $15; in person at the bookshop, at the Sou’wester front desk, or online via Brown Paper Tickets.

Cadence: A Seattle Videopoetry Showcase

Oct. 20, 8:45pm:
Text-based video work or video-based text—a videopoem makes meaning that would not exist if the text was without image, the image without text. Programmed in collaboration with Chelsea Werner-Jatzke, Cadence presents a gathering of videopoetry from Seattle artists including Shin Yu Pai, Nikkita Oliver, and Amaranth Borsuk, as well as the outcomes of the Cadence Videopoetry Workshop offered through NWFF and some new goodies.

All weekend:
Throughout the weekend, Take part in an interactive exquisite corpse poetry writing exercise which will be adapted into a short video poem by Seattle artist Shaun Kardinal.
