A young woman goes to the gynecologist to have an IUD inserted. But when this typically minor procedure begins to go wrong, her doctor’s medical sensitivity disappears off the table. Based on a true story.


The Roundhouse

Liya, a young Aboriginal woman, feels conflicted about her identity. This inner tension comes to a head when she is invited to a school party on the night of a big pow-wow and must choose between her social life and her traditional culture.
